Limited tickets go on sale here on March 1, 2024 for the 2024 Rising From the Ashes: Home Tour

Update: After serious consideration and in consultation with our homeowners, volunteers and board, we came to the difficult decision to postpone until Spring of 2022. Given the uncertain trajectory of the pandemic and the shifting landscape of event protocols, we felt this was the safest and most respectful decision we could make. The health and safety of our homeowners, volunteers and community are foremost in our decision.

The Thomas Fire in 2017 caused devastation, but not defeat. The strength and resilience of Ventura will be in view during a tour of some of the beautifully rebuilt homes.

The homes’ distinctive and unique architecture captures the views from these hills while new landscaping embraces fire mitigation measures. Modern, Spanish Revival and Craftsman-style homes will be on display along with décor from some of the area’s finest interior designers.

This unique opportunity to tour newly rebuilt homes in the Ondulando, Clearpoint, and Skyline areas of Ventura promises to be a delightful afternoon that will showcase resilience, creativity and beauty of the Ventura hillside residences. The event will include local musicians, refreshments, and contact information for a variety of professional contractors, craftsmen, builders, etc. This is a never before opportunity to tour spectacular homes.

It is only through the continued support of our many community partners that the Ventura County Library Foundation can raise funds to expand and enhance the work of Ventura County Libraries. Your generous donation will enable us to fund important literacy programs, the Mobile Library, broader access to the internet and computers to close the digital divide, homework tutoring, STEAM initiatives, and much more.
